RULES

 

 

·          The stake is EUR10 per prediction per match.

·          Each member is only entitled to one prediction per match.

·          The correct score prediction wins the pot.

·          The pot is split should two or more people correctly predict the final score.

·          Should there be no winner of the pot, the pot rolls until the next game whereby members will have the next opportunity to predict the correct score.

·          All stakes for the season/“game set” are payable before the start of the season/“game set”. Members will be informed in advance.

·          Unless a member of the syndicate is fully paid up, they will not be entitled to claim the pot.

·          Stakes should be lodged to the following bank account:

·          Scores must be submitted using the following web link:

In the case of the web link being down please contact Murt @ 0878126501 / rugby@murt.com.

·          All score submissions are due 30 minutes before the scheduled kick-off of the game in question. Predictions received after this time will be deemed to be invalid and will not be entitled to claim the pot.

·          The website will not accept score submissions later than 30 minutes before the scheduled kick-off of the game in question.

·          At the start of each season/“game set” all major fixtures will be identified and published here:

This currently covers:
- Irish Six Nations Matches
- Irish Rugby World Cup Matches (Knock-out stages are free [€0])
- Irish Summer/Autumn/Winter Tours
- Lions Test Matches

This list may be added to during the season due to the announcement of additional high profile games, or progress in competitions such as the World Cup.

·          New members can join at the start of the pot after it has been won. Members can register using the following link:

·          There is no option to “buy in” once the first match in a new pot has commenced.

·          Members may cash out at any time but will surrender 50% of their contributions made to that point for completed matches. All contributions for matches not yet played will be refunded in full.

·          The score in the game is the score after the final whistle. In the event of sudden death type knockout, the score will be the score at the end of the game, not the score after the sudden death knockout. (It is highly unlikely that such a situation should arise as this type of knockout only exists in rugby in the later stages of the Rugby World Cup.)

·          Any changes to these rules, or to any other general/implied terms and conditions, will require the consent of at least 75% of the active members who respond to the vote.

·          Each member who participates in this "Rugby Club" agrees to abide by the rules as laid out here.
